This Privacy Statement provides a description of the privacy and data use practices of Drummond & Etheridge Limited (“us”, “we” or “our”) in connection with our collection and use of data and information from you, as a customer, or visitor to our website (“you”, “your”).
As this site is not hosted on a secure server, please do not send sensitive information, such as credit card or bank account numbers.

Wherever possible, we collect this information directly from you, although we may also receive information from third parties, as authorised by you, e.g. through John Deere’s JD LinkTM Telematics system.
We generally receive, collect, use, and share the following data:
a) Customer Data, being;
- phone numbers
- GST and/or IRD numbers
- other relevant personal information
b) Machine Data, being information related to the performance, use, and location of equipment or computers with various information collection devices as described in our Privacy and Data Policy.

2. Purposes for collecting Data
We use your Data for the following purposes:
- to provide products and services to you
- to provide information to you, including information regarding our company and products
- to allow for faster, and more efficient communications and responsiveness between you and us, in relation to our services
- to review equipment diagnostic information remotely, to diagnose and recommend equipment maintenance and repairs

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete, current and stored in a secure environment.
4. Sharing of Data
We share your information with certain third parties in order to better serve you or as approved or requested by you.
These third parties may include:
- financing institutions
- other third party service providers who assist us in providing the products and services you request or their respective subsidiaries or affiliates
We also may share your information with our marketing, technical, accounting, legal or other professionals to assist us in our business operations.
In the event of suspected or actual illegal activity, we may be required by law to share certain information.

Under the Privacy Act 1993, if we can readily retrieve your information, you have the right to access that personal information. You may also request that we update or correct your information. To do so, please contact our Privacy Officer below.
